Prosecution awaits post-mortem results

The state still awaits a postmortem report in a case in which Gomolemo Mmotlanyana (40) has been charged with the murder of his wife, Kebabope Mmotlanyana at the Botswana Gender Based Violence Support and Prevention Centre in Gaborone in May.
Thus state prosecutor, Sergeant Mmoloki Selofera said before Magistrate Goratile Moremi-Ramakoloi of Broadhurst Magistrate Court during the mention of the accused on Monday.
Meanwhile the accused asked the court to request the social workers to assist his children whilst he was still remanded in custody.
“Ke kopa lekgotla gore le mpuelele le bommaboipelego gore bongwanake ba bone thuso e ba e tlhokang,” said Mmotlanyana.
Mmotlanyana will appear for his mention on August 8. Ends
