Court reserves plea in double murder case

Plea has been reserved in a case in which Mogomotsi Sepopa is accused of murdering two people.
Sepopa appeared before the Extension II Senior Magistrate, Ms Queen Mwanga yesterday where prosecution requested that plea be reserved pending further investigations on the matter.
Making a request for the accused’s remand, Inspector Modisaotsile Seratswe argued that the incident occurred only three days ago, therefore it was still fresh and investigations were at infancy stage.
Sepopa is accused of murdering his wife, Bogolo Sepopa and another woman, Same Moapare at Botswana Defence Force Village Camp in Gaborone on Monday.
The 35-year-old army captain, who will appear again for mention on August 1, indicated that he would seek legal representation. Ends
