Crime Stopper Expo slated for Game City

Gaborone is to see its first Crime Stopper Expo (CSE) billed for December 6-8, at Game City Mall, as a way of fighting crime.
A press release from Media Expreshunz, the organisers of the event, said increased crime in and around Gaborone, had heightened concerns. It noted that the CSE was designed to look at all types of crime, from personal to home, office to Internet and all the in-betweens.
The event will look at new technologies available, gimmicks, safeguards and personal protection. There would also be basic first aid and self-defence demos, tips on clues to look for, banking safety, internet issues, business and commercial fraud as well as insurance and investigative fields.
It further noted that it was everybody’s job to protect their families, homes, cars, businesses, towns and country. The CSE, it said, brought all the solutions available to research and use.
A number of targeted products and services will be on exhibit and they include among others; self defence/personal protection, home safety and security, emergency response, and security, fraud prevention, office safety and security and cybercrime prevention. Others include environmental protection, safety equipment and products and law enforcement. ENDS
