Police in Rakops are ilooking for a 22-year-old man who is reported to have disappeared last month during a hunting expedition with three of his companions at the Central Kalahari Game Reserve (CKGR).  
The missing person disappeared on May 23 while the case was reported on May 27 this year.
According to Rakops Police Station Commander Superintendent Zibani Basupi, the four men aged 22, 27, 28 and 44 left Xere  on May 21 to go on hunting mission and arrived at the game reserve the following day.
The quartet embarked on hunting and took separate ways on May 23.
Superintendent Basupi said they recieved a  report on May 27 and the village leadership was informed. He said the search  was launched immediately.
He said the search had covered almost all corners of the game reserve starting from where the missing person’s footprint was last seen but their efforts have been unsuccessfull.
Supt Basupi said that the search team comprised of 70 people on a daily basis  and included  village leadership and community members who traversed the game reserve and were on the third week searching for the missing person without trace.
