Ramotswa police are investigating an incident in which a middle-aged woman was found dead in one of the incomplete abandoned two-roomed houses in Lesetlhana ward.

In an interview Ramotswa Police station Commander Superintendent Keoagile Tau said the incident was reported on Monday afternoon by one of the residents.

“We are still investigating what could have caused her death”, Superintendent Tau said.

He said the deceased did not have visible injuries and the police were waiting for post-mortem results to know if she had sustained internal injuries.

In another matter Supt Tau said Ramotswa police were investigating an incident in which a 38-year-old man was found hanging from the rafters in a storeroom at Khudireng Kgotla in Taung.

Superintendent Tau stated that the family of the deceased said they left for work in the morning leaving him at home with no sign of distress. He said the deceased did not leave any suicide note.

Meanwhile Ramotswa police have not yet made any arrest in the hit and run incident which claimed the life of a man on the March 5 near Lesetlhana Primary School Four-way.

He said police were also on the trails of suspect(s) involved in the murder of Mr Alfred Modisaotsile Makete who was found dead along Phatana Road in Ramotswa December 4,2022.

Superintendent Tau urged anyone with information that could help with the two cases to come forth. He said a reward of P25 000 for information that could lead to the arrest of suspects of the murder of Mr Makete still stands. Ends
