Bosele Grootlaagte council by-elections set for March 25

Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Kgotla Autlwetse has issued election instruments for Bosele ward in Gaborone Bonnington North and Grootlaagte ward in Ghanzi North.
In a press release, the ministry says the poll will be taken on March 25 while nominations of council candidates will be received on March 2 between 0900hrs to 1230hrs and 1400hrs to 1700hrs at Bosele Primary School for Bosele Polling District and Grootlaagte Primary School for Grootlaagte Polling District.
The Bosele ward vacancy was occasioned by the passing on of Ms Thabanyane Mmualefe on New Year’s day and that of Grootlaagte ward by the demise of Mr Ezekiel Kajuu on January 12.
Both councillors were members of the Botswana Democratic Party. ends
