The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester to visit Botswana

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, will undertake an Official Visit to Gaborone, Botswana on October 5 to 8, as representatives King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
This historic visit to Botswana by the royal family, will coincide with Botswana’s Diamond Jubilee, as the country celebrates its 60th Anniversary of Independence. While in Gaborone, they will pay a Courtesy Call on President Advocate Duma Gideon Boko, participate in a wreath laying ceremony at the War Memorial, as well as visit key sites of national significance, including the Botswana National Museum.
The visit by The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester is a testament of the excellent bilateral relations that Botswana and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland continue to enjoy, which predate the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1966. ENDS
