Police in pursuit of armed robbers

Law enforcement officers in Gaborone are on a manhunt for five armed suspects. This follows a shoot-out that ensued between law enforcement officers and six armed men at Block 8 location in Gaborone on Sunday night, a Monday media release from the Botswana Police Service says . It says one of the suspects was arrested, but the five, who are believed to be foreign nationals, evaded arrest.
The release urges members of the public to be on the lookout for the suspects and report any suspicious characters to the nearest police station or call 999. Police also warn members of the public not to approach the suspects as they are armed and dangerous.
It further states that investigations into the incident are continuing. Ends
