Tshepiso Letsididi of Mogogoreng who is accused of  murdering a woman and her grand-daughter at Magokotswane ward in Molepolole, briefly appeared before Molepolole Magistrate court following his arrest in Mochudi on Friday.

During his mention, Prosecutor Inspector Thema Marumola told the court that  the investigations were at an initial stage and that the accused had another pending murder case.

He said the 34-year-old accused person had been under the police radar as he was wanted for other offences.

Inspector Marumola  also stated that the accused faced charges of double murder, theft of Toyota Camry and Huawei Y5 Lite phone which amounted to P61 500 belonging to one of his victims, Penekane Mhaladi.

The accused pleaded with the court to be furnished with charges for his other offences.

He has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance set for 23 January next year. ENDS
