Palapye police investigate murder

A 21-year-old man of Thomadithotse ward in Palapye was arrested over the weekend in connection with the killing of a 40-year-old Lesotho national.
The latter was an employee at MIDO Construction, a company contracted to construct Palapye Bus Rank. Acting Palapye station commander, Assistant Superintendent Sylvester Maupong said in an interview that the deceased was stabbed with a sharp instrument and was certified dead at the hospital.
Mr Maupong said the incident occurred at Bojang ja Pitse Bar at Thomadithotse ward after the victim and the suspect had a misunderstanding. Investigations, he said, were at preliminary stage. Ends
