Business Botswana held a two-day 16th national conference in Francistown October 17-18.

The conference held under the theme; Road Map to High Income - Accelerating Transformation, was a platform for the business community and other stakeholders to chart the way forward in terms of taking the country to the next level of socio-economic development.

Officially opening the conference on Monday, President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi, said government had always prioritised public-private sector dialogue through platforms such as the national business conference.

He said the conference was a true reflection of the quest for inclusivity in the endeavour to promote private sector led economic recovery and growth.

For the first time, De Beers Group displayed rough diamonds in line with its objective of ensuring Batswana got an opportunity to view diamonds and appreciate what they looked like. It also displayed diamond jewellery.
