She also noted that the engagements gave them the opportunity to discuss issues such as performance of pupils, behaviour and how academic results could be improved as well as other issues.
The school head informed the MP that they were faced with challenges of substance abuse, bullying, theft, carrying of dangerous objects and gang fights.
Sharing the school performance deputy school head, Mr Omphemetse Maitshoko said they had been hovering between 17 and 21 per cent pass rate in school leaving examinations since 2017.
He, however, noted that in the 2022 mock examinations they attained 21.5 per cent.
He said pupils were getting a lot of support and encouragement from different people and organisations and that they were motivated.

For his part, Mr Tshere encouraged the school leadership to do their best and improve the academic performance and reputation of the school.
He also noted that teachers complaints had reduced.
He wished the school good luck in the coming examinations and said as community leaders they expected to see a gradual improvement that would give everyone hope for better results.
Mr Tshere informed the school management that there was a positive response to all his questions on the school in Parliament.
He said he was promised that action would be taken regarding school infrastructure and electricity.
The MP also urged teachers to deal with indiscipline, saying it was a major concern that needed to be addressed.
He added that parents who did not come to the school when called also needed to be addressed.
He said the ministry had approved P1 million for the installation of the school fence and that the administration block that burned to ashes would be rebuilt. ENDS
