Evangelist Udochukwus crusade Friday

08 Sep 2022

Preparations are at an advance stage to host Botswana for Christ Crusade with Wiseman Daniel Udochukwu, who arrived Wednesday.

The event is slated for Friday and Saturday at Gaborone’s National Stadium.

Speaking in an interview with BOPA on Tuesday, one of the organisers, Mr Gregory Mfazi, who is the chief of protocol of the House of Chronicles International Assembly Church, confirmed that they had invited the Nigerian Pastor to come preach and provide deliverance.

He said Evangelist Udochukwu, also known as Wiseman Daniel, was the former Pastor and evangelist of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), under the late overseer Prophet TB Joshua.

“Wiseman Daniel was released by Prophet TB Joshua before he passed on to start a ministry, and we are happy to be hosting such an anointed man of God,” he said.

As the crusade had attracted multitudes of people from all parts of Botswana and even across the borders, Mr Mfazi said they would adhere to COVID protocols.

He said as the church they believed that after the COVID-19 scourge, the world had lost hope as COVID-19 took lives of many, families were still grieving the loss of  their loved ones, therefore a revival through Wiseman Daniel was necessary to help preach the message of hope to the children of God.

“We find it as a divine appointment by God to have invited the Senior Elder in faith to bring such a restoration to the lives of the people of God and we have invited all pastors from different church denominations to also partake,” he said.

He also said the prayer line registration started on August 22 and ended on Monday September 5.

Pastors will also have time with Man of God at a Pastor’s conference slated for September 12 at Maharaj Conference Centre.

He also said the crusade was free as salvation was not for sale.

He said people had volunteered to support the crusade financially, therefore they had to open an account specifically for the event.

Mr Mfazi said they were aware of the money laundering law and were complying.

Therefore those pledging were stating the source of their funds and even putting down their names for evaluation, which would be openly done, and the police had been engaged for transparency’s sake.

He also cautioned the people not to believe anyone who claimed to be collecting money for the crusade, saying there was only one account for those who willingly wanted to help.

Upon arrival, Wiseman Daniel was welcomed by 50 women donning traditional gear to depict Botswana culture. ENDS
