Lephepe Sub-land Board vehicle stolen

A Toyota GD6 Twin cab belonging to Lephepe Sub-land Board in the Kweneng District has reportedly been stolen by unknown individuals. They allegedly also used the same vehicle to kidnap two security officers on duty at the premises on Sunday night.
Kweneng Land Board chairperson, Mr Kgang Kgang, confirmed the incident in an interview today.
He, however, said the two security officers were found this morning at Mokgenene settlement in the Central District, about 30km away from Lephepe, where they were dumped there by the robbers.
He said the matter was reported to him by Lephepe Sub-land Board chairperson and Kweneng Landboard secretary.
At the time of going to press, the police were still in meetings, as such could not shed any more light on the incident. BOPA
