Police investigate Molepolole revenue office break-in

Molepolole police have confirmed a break-in at the village’s government revenue office. An unknown amount of money is also suspected to have been stolen.
Station commander, Supt Benedict Matlho said in an interview this morning that he was constrained to reveal more details. He said the police would be in a better position to issue a statement after the office of the Accountant General has completed its internal processes.
Meanwhile, the Accountant General was earlier today reported to be on his way from Gaborone to Molepolole revenue offices, where further investigations are expected to take place. This is a developing story. End
