The sixth annual Dinokeng Business Exposition (DBE) will be held at City Polar Stadium in Ramonaka on July 29 to 30.

Briefing the media in Gaborone on Tuesday, the exposition coordinator, Mr Karabo Senwelo said the event would give recognition to and showcase Kgatleng District’s most successful youth entrepreneurs.

The event, which will be held under the theme; Intensive Marketing, a Tool to Resuscitate Your Business During the COVID-19 Aftermath, will provide a perfect opportunity for youth entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs to network.

Mr Senwelo said young entrepreneurs would be able to explore different business approaches and also extend their entrepreneurial experiences, self-growth and skills.

Dinokeng Business Exposition, he said, had been running for five years and it involves the Kgatleng river villages being Mabalane, Sikwane, Mmathubudukwane, Ramonaka and Malolwane

Entrepreneurs from Kgatleng and outside, the public and private sector are expected to exhibit their products and services during the exposition, he said.

Mr Senwelo told media that the main objective of the event was to increase participation of youth entrepreneurs in all sectors of the economy.

He further pointed out that Mr Moemedi Senwelo, the director and founder of CrackIT Tuition, who was a nominee for 2018 Africa Entrepreneur of the Year award, would be the guest speaker at the event.

The event patron and area Member of Parliament, Mr Mabuse Pule called on the private sector to come on board and support the exposition.

He emphasised that the exposition would also position the Kgatleng District as the best place in Botswana to set up a business.

Mr Pule urged Batswana to grace the show in large numbers as it would attract funding and investment opportunities for entrepreneurs. BOPA
