A 38-year old man is expected to appear before Kanye magistrate court on June 14 for the murder of a three-year old boy.
In an interview with BOPA, Moshupa station commander Superintendent David Ramoseki said the toddler was found dead at a neighbour’s house at Kgopa ward in Moshupa last Friday.
“We have since arrested a 38-year old man to help with investigations since he was last seen with the deceased,” he explained. He said they were awaiting post-mortem results while police investigations continue.
In another incident, Supt. Ramoseki said they were investigating the possible suicide of a 16-year-old Moshupa senior secondary school learner who was found hanging at the school ablution block on Sunday morning. He said the Form IV pupil, who hails from Thamaga, was a boarder at the school.
“There was no suicide note but police investigations into the matter are ongoing, while the body is awaiting post-mortem examination.” ends
