Police in search of missing school boy

Police in Tutume are appealing to members of the public to help them search for a missing form two Shangano Junior Secondary School pupil.
In an interview with BOPA on March 24, Tutume Police Station Commander Superintendent Jerry Halahala said the 16-year-old boy of Chabale Ward in Nshakashogwe who was last seen on March 9.
Superintendent Halahala said their investigations revealed that the boy went to school on the fateful day and told his classmates that he had forgotten his facemask and was going back home to get it, adding that was the last time he was seen.
He said at the time of his disappearance the boy was wearing his full school uniform; grey trousers, white shirt, a blue stripped tie and black shoes.
He said their investigations had also revealed that some of the boy’s clothes, were missing. He said the boy was an orphan, left under the guardianship of his grandfather.
Superintendent Halahala has therefore appealed to members of the public to notify the nearest police station, with any information that could help in the search. Ends
