Maun police investigate murder suicide

Two suspects are in police custody following the death of a 35-year-old man on December 26 at Haina Veld, some 122 kilometres from Maun.
Maun police station commander, Superintendent Chenamo Orateng told BOPA that preliminary investigations indicated that a 61-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman engaged in a physical fight with the deceased, which was suspected to have resulted his demise.
In a separate incident, Supt Orateng has appealed to the public to help police identify the body of a man who was found hanging from a tree at Thito ward, Maun in the morning of December 26.
Supt Orateng stated that the man was suspected to be aged between 30-35.
He advised families to be in contact with their loved ones in order to acertain their whereabouts. Ends
