Tutume Police investigate robbery

Tutume Police are appealing to members of the public to assist with information that can lead to the arrest of suspects who robbed three Chinese businessmen at Magapatona ward in Tutume on Wednesday.
Assistant Superintendent Lesego Kgosiemang said in an interview that they received a report from Chinese nationals that they had been robbed by four unknown men at their residence.
The robbers allegedly attacked them in the evening after they knocked off from the business.
Assistant Superintendent Kgosiemang said according to the victims, the robbers had something similar to a gun while one of them also had a knife. He added the assailants allegedly beat the men until they gave them money amounting to about P11 600. The suspected robbers are reported to have also took two mobile phones before fleeing the scene.
