07 Aug 2021

Police are appealing to farmers to come and identify small stock at Semolale police kraal.

A press release from the Botswana Police Service states that on August 1, Semolale police intercepted 91 goats and 18 sheep suspected to be stolen.

It says that during the interception, four unknown men herding the suspected stolen small stock abandoned them and fled the scene towards South Africa.

The release states that the incident occurred at the confluence of the Shashe and Limpopo rivers known as Shalimpo.

The police also request the public to assist with any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects.

Police investigations into the matter are ongoing. Ends
