Fuel prices go up

The retail pump price for petrol and diesel will be adjusted with effect from midnight ( April 01, 2021).
A press release from Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority (BERA) says the retail pump price of unleaded petrol 93 will increase by 100 thebe per litre, while the retail pump price of unleaded petrol 95 will increase by 100 thebe per litre. The retail pump price of diesel 50ppm will also increase by 100 thebe per litre.
The release further says the increase in fuel pump prices is necessitated by the adjustment in the fuel levy by 100 thebe per litre.
