Nata police investigate murder

A 30-year-old man is in custody regarding investigations on the murder of a 55-year-old man of Sekao ward in Nata.
Nata police station commander, Superintendent Vincent Pitsietsile, explained in an interview that the incident happened on Friday afternoon when the accused hit the deceased with stones.
He said the victim suffered excessive loss of blood from the injuries he sustained on his head and was rushed to Nata clinic where he was certified dead.
Supt Pitsietsile said the suspect was immediately arrested and appeared before Nata Magistrate Court on Monday.
Furthermore, Nata police chief said the deceased body had been taken to Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital for postmortem while investigation continued. ends
