Police in Molepolole are investigating a murder case in which a 38-year-old man allegedly stabbed his 32-year-old lover with a sharp object at Mahetlwe on January 20. 

Molepolole Station Commander,  Superintendent Motlhaba Ramaabya confirmed the murder case in an interview, revealing that the gruesome murder took place at Maroane ward in Mahetlwe, Wednesday between 7 and 8am.  

The officer said the police were alerted by the neighbours and the victim was rushed to hospital, where she was certified dead upon arrival.

Further, Supt. Ramaabya said the suspect was in police custody.  

He was scheduled to appear before Molepolole Magistrate Court this morning.

Sup. Ramaabya has therefore advised couples to change their attitude towards one another and change the way they handled conflicts as well as their approach towards important matters. 

The man hails from Bokalaka ward while the woman was from Lekgwapheng ward in Molepolole. Ends
