Probes on Molapisi murder case complete

The state has completed investigations on Moabi Molapisi’s murder case and is ready for trial.
This was said by state prosecutor, Mr Modibedi Tladi of Directorate on Public Prosecution on Monday when Molapisi appeared for mention before Maun’s Chief Magistrate Thebeetsile Molalu.
Mr Tladi informed the court that the state had completed its investigations and was ready to serve the accused with all required documents by the end of this week.
The 40-year-old Moabi is alleged to have murdered his mother Kehetwe Molapisi on June 28 at her homestead at Matlapana ward in Maun.
Particulars of the offence are that Molapisi broke into his mother’s bedroom on June 28 this year with an intent to commit murder.
A blood stained axe that was suspected to have been used to commit the crime was allegedly found by the police in the bedroom. Ends
