Mmathethe/Molapowabojang MP, Dr Edwin Dikoloti has donated a hydroponic garden to the Borogwane family in honour of the memory of their father, the late Butinyana Borogwane who died on election day last year.
Handing the donation to his widow Bothepha Borogwane and daughter Segametsi, Dr Dikoloti said the late Borogwane was his loyal supporter.
The MP expressed his wish for the garden to keep Borogwane’s memory alive and also become an income generator for the family.
Borogwane’s widow said they would hold the garden dear in honour of her late husband, noting that the donation would serve as a constant reminder of her husband.
According to the manufacturer, Mr Brandon Berriman of GBS Technologies, hydroponics made plants grow bigger and faster by 30 per cent and consumed 90 per cent less water compared to ground farming. ENDS
