In the first round both Monyake and Kesego Okie were at 25 and after a second round, they both amassed 30 each, but in the final lap, Monyake got 32 votes while Okie was voted by 23.

Meanwhile, in his speech, Letshwiti promised that as the executive, they would work hard to transform BFA into an organisation that promoted transparency and accountability in all its operations.

He said there was a need to inculcate a sense of responsibility in everything that they did and adhered to disciplined conduct so that the organisation would become ethical in everything it undertook.

Furthermore, he said the executive would ensure that the needful was done to make BFA an exemplary organisation in terms of upholding sound principles of governance and management.

“I wish to assure you that we will remain committed to our manifesto, to our aspirations and that of the nation.

We will reach out to women and inculcate them into our programme aggressively,” he said.

The president said moving forward, there was also a need to commercialise football especially the Premier League.

“We need to implement everything we set out to do at development level.

We need to transform the game and we need to this as a matter of urgency.

We need to go back to strengthen stakeholder relations and to move faster in incentivising the game.” he said. ENDS
