Man kills girlfriend hangs himself

A 38-year old man hanged himself after killing his girlfriend and throwing her body in a pond along the Tati River in Francistown in the early hours of Saturday.
Kutlwano police station commander, Superintendent Neo Serumola, confirmed the incident.
“Yes, we are investigating a murder following what is believed to have been a murder-suicide along the Tati River near Block 1 location in Francistown,” said Superintendent Serumola.
He said a blood stained stock brick was found near the 37-year-old Tutume woman's body.
Superintendent Serumola stated that bodies were at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital for post-mortem and families of the deceased have been contacted. ends
