Live cattle export information at ministry offices

Farmers as well as the public are encouraged to obtain guidelines for the exportation of cattle dispensation from Ministry of Agricultural Development and Food Security offices of the across the country.
This follows the recent announcement that government will allow export for slaughter October 1-December 31.
A press release from the ministry says the dispensation is for export of cattle for direct slaughter and weaners for feedlotting.
“It is important to note that female animals are excluded from the dispensations,” the release says. Ends
