Double murder accused to appear August 20

Extension II Magistrate, Ms Queen Moanga has postponed double murder accused, Moabi Molapisi’s mention date to August 20.
Particulars of the offence are that Molapisi (40) of Matlapana Ward in Maun allegedly murdered Ms Gofiwa Kabelo on June 30 at Lesetlhana Ward in Ramotswa.
State prosecutor, Sub Inspector Koowagile Gaseletsapa told the court that investigations on the matter were not complete as the prosecution was still awaiting postmortem report.
He thus applied for the remand warrant of the accused person to be extended, more so he was set to appear before Maun magistrate for yet another murder case on August 6.
The 40-year-old Molapisi is also alleged to have murdered his mother in Maun on June 29 and then proceeded to kill his girlfriend in Ramotswa the next day. ENDS
