15 Sep 2013

Local music group Mantshwabisi has released their fifth album titled Kealeboga

The duo broke into the limelight with their hit song Mantshwabisi and their fifth offering has a strong emphasis on the importance of discipline.

One of the group members, Kagiso Moses, who together with his twin brother Kago Moses form the group Mantshwabisi, revealed that their music career dated back to their primary school days. He said their knowledge of music was a talent that God had blessed them with, as none of them had ever attended music school.

“Back in the days we made a guitar using a can and we used to sing for our mates just for entertainment,” said Kagiso.

He added that the track Lesole  was a favourite among the majority who had listened to the album, adding that it sent a firm and clear message that could guide the youth to trust in the Lord. He urged the youth to never give up on their dreams no matter how long it took to realise them.

Asked why they always sing in an elderly tone, Kagiso said they wanted to emphasise the importance of culture and draw the attention of the youth.

“We urge Batswana to buy this CD and listen to our message. It will educate them and build them as a nation,” he said.  In conclusion, Kago urged all the artistes to work together to produce fruitful results for the nation. Ends
