Department closes Biogas project applications

The Department of Energy informs the public that applications for assistance to construct small scale biogas digesters in South-Eastern Botswana have been closed due to overwhelming response from the public.
A statement from the Director Mr Mpalie Bothoko states that the targeted number of applications was 200 and the project has since received over 1000 applications from interested applicants.
It further states that all applicants were to be contacted regarding their applications by close of business on Friday, 12 June 2020 and for more information the Public Relations Officer can be contacted on 3640262 or the Project Manager at 3640259 / thgmodise@gov.bw. ENDS
