Some salons experience slow business following reopening

The easing of the extreme social distancing regulations almost a week ago has seen some businesses such as hair salons re-open and some appear to be struggling.
Some, it appears have lost some of their customers due to the lockdown.
Pearl Kgaudi of Pearl’s Beauty salon said in an interview that she had lost some of her customers and business was slow. She said they had only two customers on the first day of re-opening.
She and her two members of staff got half April salaries through the COVID-19 Relief Fund wage subsidy from Botswana Unified Revenue Services. Ends
