Shaffis Filling Station fuels BLH

Ramotswa-based businessman, Mr Ebrahim Shaikhnag, has pledged fuel worth P15 000 to Bamalete Lutheran Hospital (BLH) and 360 bottles of water for frontline workers.
Mr Shaikhnag, who operates Shaffi’s Filling Station under the Shell trademark, stated that the donation was to aid the hospital respond adequately to the COVID-19 eventualities in the district.
He said the community ought to unite in the fight against COVID-19 to achieve meaningful results.
The decision to donate to BLH, Mr Shaikhnag said, was an easy one because the hospital was reputable and preferred by many in need of medical attention. He urged the community to join forces and help the hospital execute its mandate.
The area Member of Parliament, Mr Lefoko Moagi commended Mr Shaikhnag for the gesture.
He said the donation came at a time when economies and businesses were being ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr Moagi said he had sought assistance from various businesses in the district to assist the community and some were coming forth.
BLH acting superintendent, Dr Pierrot Mwanza said the donation demonstrated the community’s appreciation for their work.
He said the entire world was battling the pandemic and government was doing all it could to contain the spread of the disease. ENDS
