boy misses rabbit shoots cousin dead

Serowe police are investigating an incident in which a 15-year-old boy died after his cousin shot him during a hunting expedition at some lands near Paje recently.
In an interview with BOPA on Wednesday, Serowe Police Station commander, Superintendent Poloko Oteng said the deceased and the 16-year-old cousin were with their uncle on a hunting mission when the incident occurred.
He said it was alleged that in an attempt to shoot the rabbit in front of them, he mistakenly shot his cousin with a rifle.
The boy was rushed to Sekgoma Memorial hospital where he was certified dead.
The police investigations are still ongoing concerning the incident. END
