Two in custody for stocktheft

Serowe police are investigating a case in, which two men are accused of stealing 11 goats in Sehunou on April 14.
The two, Onkemetse Gabagopolwe, 46, also known as ‘Mzambia’ and and Kaone ‘Moruti’ Jejee, 26, both from Sehunou had allegedly sold three goats when they were arrested by the police.
In an interview, Sub-Inspector Boitumelo Thwabi said members of the public tipped off the police about the incident.
Sub-Inspector Thwabi said stocktheft had impacted negatively not only on the economy, but also on the peace and tranquility that prevailed in the country.
He said the police law enforcement strategy was bearing fruit across the country. He also stated that some people were adhering to the extreme social distancing regulations by curtailing their movement. Ends
