PPADB to live stream tender openings
27 Mar 2020
The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) has suspended customer resource centre services at its Gaborone and Francistown offices.
A press release from PPADB says training of contractors as well as procuring entities with the aim of protecting customers and employees in line with the COVID-19 pandemic precautionary measures has also been suspended.
Thus, the release says, PPADB will live stream public tender openings on Wednesdays at 10am through its official Facebook page so that other bidders can watch the process from their homes or offices and tender opening will be limited to 10 people only.
All customers are also reminded that payment for contract registrar applications and other services can be done online using credit or debit cards. Other services remain unaffected and any changes will be communicated.
Further, the public is encouraged to utilise PPADB’s web-based IPMS for contractor registration and e-tendering as well as utilise telephones and other information technology platforms to communicate with their offices in both Gaborone and Francistown for any clarification or assistance. ENDS
