 Ms Lentlafetse Dingalo (33) has worked hard to realise her dream.

The Maun-based hair entrepreneur has her line of braid dubbed Ngirl that hit the market in December last year. 

Ms Dingalo said in an interview that working in the hair industry for the past seven years, made her realise a gap in the industry.

She said to make her dream a reality, she embarked on online tuition to augment the little knowledge she had.

“That is when the Ngirl braid concept was born. If you are passionate about something, you should follow it and if you follow your passion it will follow you, everyone has a passion for something,” she said.The Shorobe-born entrepreneur said the brand was suitable for any hair texture. She also appreciated support from the public since launch of Ngirl braid.

Ms Dingalo said individuals interested in buying and reselling the braid were also welcome.

Nonetheless, she produced at a small scale and did not have capacity to supply a wholesale that had shown interest.

“I am looking for funds to expand my production before I can commit to supplying wholesales. I do not want to disappoint them along the way,” she said.Ms Dingalo also said she had embarked on the initiative of giving back to the community. She said so far, she had donated to Matsaudi and Shorobe.ends
