She also ordered the accused to bind himself with a sum of P500 and provide a surety to be bound with the same amount.

The Gaborone businessman is facing a charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Particulars of the offence are that the accused person on Monday, at or near Debonairs at Riverwalk Mall in Gaborone, without any lawful excuse slapped Kevin Motsumi several times on the cheeks and on the head.
State prosecutor, Kedumetse Shamukuni did not oppose bail saying investigations were still ongoing and were expected to be completed next week.
Some witnesses had not yet come forth to give statements, he said.
Defence lawyer, Advocate Joram Matomela of J.J Matomela Attorneys said cases should only be brought before court when investigations had been completed to avoid wastage of resources.
Magistrate Kgerethwa shared the same sentiments saying everything must be put in order prior to coming to court. ENDS
