Debonairs Pizza opens 18th outlet in Gabane

Debonairs Pizza Botswana has opened its eighteen outlet in the country at Turnrite Mall in Mogoditshane.
According to the Debonairs Pizza managing director, Mr Rudolf De Wet, Debonairs Pizza brand had grown over the years.
He said the pizza brand currently employed about 580 staff of which mostly were locals, females and youth.
He said the figure showed the company’s involvement in job creation and skills transfer among the locals.
Mr De Wet said Debonairs Pizza Botswana would this August be celebrating 20 years of existence in the country and would be open three more stores in the country.
Furthermore, he said Debonairs Pizza had a corporate social responsibility program which assisted schools, nonprofit making organizations and various charities.
A representative from Mogoditshane/Thamaga sub-council, Ms Kabelo Timothy said it was worthy working with Turnrite mall, which had changed the landscape of Mogoditshane, created employment for the local community; a good news for every local authority.
She said government in its drive to develop the country needed development partners and commended Debonairs Pizza for their role in creating employment in the country.
Ms Timothy added that skills which locals acquired from retails such as Debonairs Pizza were valuable for individual and the country growth.
Debonairs Pizza Botswana Marketing Manager Ms Kgomotso Garebakwena said franchise brand was started by two students in Maritzburg, South Africa.
She said their products were meant to be shared in fun casual group occasions with family and friends, at home for dinners, lunches out or at work for weekday lunch. Ends
