Man commits suicide

Francistown’s Kutlwano Police are investigating a case in which a 33-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself with a sling bag belt on the night of November 17.
Kutlwano Police Station commander, Superintendent Neo Serumola confirmed the incident, saying the deceased was found hanging from the rafters of his house by a nephew, who reported the matter to the parents.
He explained that the police received a report around 11pm from the parents and immediately rushed to the scene.
Superintendent Serumola said the names of the deceased, who hailed from Somerset West in Francistown, were still withheld until the next of kin are informed.
The body is lying at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital awaiting post mortem, said Supt Serumola, adding that the deceased did not leave any message as to why he ended his life. Ends
