Ghanzi man molests two male pupils

A 29-year-old man of Ghanzi recently appeared before Ghanzi senior magistrate, Mr Thapelo Buang on a single count of indecent assault.
It is alleged that the accused person, Benson Kebinapeba, on or about September 21, 2019, at or near Kgaphamadi ward, unlawfully and indecently fondled two 17-year-old school boys on their private parts.
The accused, whose plea was reserved, will appear for mention on October 21.
Meanwhile, Ghanzi Police Station Commander, Superintendent Modiro Lekone said it was alleged that the accused bought the victims alcohol before molesting them and later gave them money.
Superintendent Lekone explained that the victims’ parents became suspicious when the duo came to their respective homes late, claiming to have been at school, but later revealed their ordeal before the police.
He highlighted that it was alleged that the accused had proposed one of the victims since February, but he had been rejecting him. On a separate matter, Mpusetsang Kganane and Ketlaoleboga Tekanyetso, both from Ncojane, also appeared before senior magistrate Buang for allegedly stealing and slaughtering a cow belonging to one Gaolaolwe Keothobilwe.
