Five appear before Mmadinare Customary Court for stock theft

Five people have appeared before Mmadinare customary court on charges of stock theft.
The five accused persons are Oneetse Rebagamang, 24 years of Mogapinyana village, Otsile Ditsebo, 29 of Mmadinare, Simon Mosimanewesi, 21 of Letsibogo as well as 78 year old Ralejo Molore and Gakelebale Ralejo aged 35 from Tshokwe .
Police spokesperson assistant commissioner Dipheko Motube said in an interview that the five of the accused persons appeared at Mmadinare customary court whilst one suspect was yet to be arraigned for the same offence at the Selebi Phikwe magistrate court.
He said the accused were found in possession of nine cattle, alleged to be stolen during KgomoKhumo raid.
The cattle were found at Sampoane cattle post located between Mmadinare and Robelela on September 9 and 12.
He called on the community to visit Selebi Phikwe police station to help identify the cattle, adding that five of the stolen cattle had not been identified by their owners.
He said to date more than 145 people have been arrested through Kgomo-Khumo initiative. Ends
