Parliament dissolution general election post fake - OP

The Office of the President has dismissed as fake and malicious the contents of a social media post saying President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi has announced the date of dissolution of Parliament and that of the general election.
According to a press release issued by permanent secretary for Government Communications, Mr Andrew Sesinyi, no such dates have been announced and it remains the prerogative of the President to do so at his pleasure.
The release further states that such an announcement would be made through the appropriate channels at the appropriate time. ENDS
