Ramotswa police probe woman death

Ramotswa police are investigating a case in which a 42-year-old woman of Ramotswa died after a 27-year-old man hit her with an object.
Assistant Superintendent Zimisani Mathumo said the woman was taken to Bamalete Lutheran Hospital where she later died. He said the suspect was likely to face a murder charge.
Assistant Superintendent Mathumo said their investigations revealed that the two had a disagreement during a ritual cleansing gathering, following burial of a family member.
He said the police had not yet established if the two were related.
He appealed to members of the community to always seek mediation from elders or other community members in case of disagreements. ENDS
