Police arrest suspects in Tlokweng

Police in Tlokweng have arrested two Batswana men aged 35 and 37 in connection with a case of church breaking and theft.
According to a press release from Botswana Police Service, suspects were found in possession of some property that was stolen from a church in Tlokweng on May 15.
The property, valued over P10 000, included among others, speakers, microphones and a generator.
Suspects are in police custody while investigations continue.
Still in Tlokweng, police have arrested a 48-year-old Motswana man for receiving stolen property.
The suspect was arrested during a search at one of the roadblocks in Gaborone where he was found in possession of 14 tower batteries belonging to Botswana Fibre Network (BoFiNet).
Further investigations into the matter also led to the arrest of a 41-year-old man and two Batswana women aged 36 and 39 who are all employees of the same company.
The four suspects were expected to appear before court on today (May 20) on charges of receiving stolen property and stealing by servant respectively. ENDS
