Maun police investigate suicide

Maun Police are investigating the death of a 26-years-old man who was found hanging in a public toilet at Maun Old Mall on April 8 morning.
Station Commander, Superintendent Motlhaba Ramaabya confirmed the incident in an interview.
Supt. Ramaabya said the deceased, who comes from Botshabelo ward in Maun, allegedly hanged himself on the night of April 7 and was found by bystanders the following morning around 9am.
Police investigations are ongoing to establish why the deceased took his life while the body was awaiting postmortem at Letsholathebe II Memorial Hospital. ENDS
