Higfh Court postpones Thabo Masilo case
07 Feb 2019
Thabo Masilo’s murder case failed to proceed before Gaborone High Court yesterday because the defence lawyer was indisposed.
The court heard from the state prosecutor, Mr Maleke Kamogelo, that attorney Mr Kgosietsile Ngakaagae was not well.
The case was scheduled for oral submission of extenuating circumstances by the defence, a move which could have paved way for the finalisation of the case.
The case will continue on February 25.
In December last year Justice Abednego Tafa found Masilo guilty of the 2012 murder of Tshepang Motlhabane, who had just completed her form 5 at St. Joseph’s College.
Justice Tafa said evidence indicated that the murder was premeditated. ENDS
