Fierce battle for Fighters name tomorrow
31 Jan 2019
A fierce battle for the name, Fighters is anticipated at Mogoditshane Fighters ground on February 2 when Jwaneng Fighters visit Mogoditshane Fighters in the Debswana First Division South league game.
In an interview with Jwaneng Fighters coach, Andrew Tlou said they were prepared for the game as they had no suspensions or injuries in the team.
Tlou said they had signed seven new players to reinforce the team going into the second round.
Meanwhile, Mogoditshane Fighters coach, Tshoganetso Malizimba said they started preparing for the clash on January 28 with psychological exercises.
“Tactically, we intend to attack while cautious but we have seen that they are good on attack but defensively they are poor. I am also happy because all the players are back and we have no suspensions or injuries. We have reinforced our squad by bringing experienced players like Khumbulani Maziba from BDF XI and Lorato Mosweu and they would definitely help us as we are also going to play the Orange FA Cup,” Malizimba said.
In other league games to be played on February 2, Gilport Lions, who were docked points last week and lost to Matebejana, will start their second round games against Matebejana again at Lekidi Astro Turf.
Black Rangers hope to dismantle Modipane United once again when they host them in Tsabong.
In Mochudi, Kgabo e Nnye Sebata as Rovers are affectionately known, will lie in wait for bottom placed Blue Stars of Ghanzi.
On February 3, Broadhurst United hope to ascend to the summit of the log as they welcome Black Peril at SSG Grounds.
The last game will see Red Sparks battle it out with Uniao Flamingo Santos at the Red Sparks Grounds in Tlokweng.
All the games start at 4pm. ENDS
