Mochudi police arrest suspects

Police in Mochudi have arrested four Batswana aged between 34 and 50 years for the robbery that occurred in Mochudi on August 30.
A press release from Botswana Police Service states that the quartet included three men and a woman.
They are Goitseone Mfetane, 43, Phillimon Motlhoki, 42, Joseph Mosidi, 50, who were arrested at Borite lands in the Kgatleng District while Tsholofelo Maphorisa, 34, was arrested in Mochudi.
The release states that a total amount of about P600 in coins is alleged to have been stolen.
“A motor vehicle that was used as a gate away and other implements used for the commission of the offence had since been seized from the suspects as exhibits,” reads the release.
It further states that the suspects were arraigned before Mochudi Magistrate Court on August 31 for mention and they will appear on September 13, while all the suspects were remanded in custody pending investigations. ENDS
